8 Things You Can Do Today

Take the next steps towards making your research more open. It will only take a few minutes! Create an ORCID identifier, find out where you can search datasets for re-use, catch up on how and where to share preprints, see which of your existing publications you can make Open Access for free, and identify how to make your peer review activities count. Also learn new ways to reach out and explain your research to the general public, and discover what attention your research is getting online.

There will be:

• laptops available to try out a number of tools and platforms. You can also find out what tools other researchers are using.
• people to answer Open Science questions you may have.
